Customer Terms of Service

These Customer Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of www.sevigram.com and related consumer services operated by Sevigram Technologies Ltd (“Sevigram”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, browsing, or booking through Sevigram, you agree to these Terms.

If you list services or use the business dashboard as a provider, separate Business Terms of Service apply.

1. Agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Sevigram. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Sevigram. Where required by law, a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and booking.
  • You may maintain only one personal customer account unless we authorize otherwise.

3. Our role

Sevigram is a marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers. Providers are not employees or agents of Sevigram. We do not perform the services listed on the Platform and are not responsible for how a provider delivers a booked service, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

4. Accounts and security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • We may require email verification or additional checks to protect accounts and bookings.

5. Search, profiles, and bookings

  • Service availability, pricing, and provider policies are set by providers and shown at checkout.
  • A booking is an offer to purchase a service subject to provider acceptance and any stated conditions.
  • You agree to provide accurate booking details, including service location and contact information.
  • Negotiations, rescheduling, and order updates may be handled through the Platform as enabled for each service.

6. Payments

  • Payments are processed by Stripe and Paystack or other payment partners we designate.
  • By submitting payment, you authorize charges for the amounts displayed at checkout, including applicable fees.
  • Sevigram does not store full payment card numbers. Each payment partner’s terms apply to payment processing.
  • Currency, taxes, and fees are shown before you confirm a booking.

7. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and refund rules are determined by the provider’s policies displayed at checkout and on their profile. Sevigram may facilitate communication and payment adjustments but provider policies govern service delivery unless we state otherwise in writing for a specific promotion or guarantee.

8. Reviews and content

  • You may submit reviews and other content that are honest, lawful, and relevant to your experience.
  • You grant Sevigram a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform.
  • We may remove or moderate content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for fraud, harassment, or illegal activity.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Interfere with bookings, payments, or other users’ use of the Platform.
  • Misrepresent your identity or booking details.

10. Third-party services

The Platform integrates with third parties such as Stripe and Paystack and individual providers. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy practices.

11. Disclaimers

Services are provided by independent providers “as offered” by those providers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sevigram disclaims warranties regarding provider quality, availability, safety, or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sevigram and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any booked service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid to Sevigram for the booking giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) an amount equivalent to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100), unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sevigram from claims arising from your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

15. Disputes and governing law

Before formal proceedings, please contact us at support@sevigram.com to seek informal resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice.
